Flash Fiction

Bury Me

This contemporary piece won the 2019 FBCW Flash Fiction competition and was published in WordWorks magazine. It explores communication barriers to openly discussing mental health issues.

Journalism

Attracting and retaining indigenous students

A feature article that focuses on conversations with three women of Cree, Mi'kmaq, and Ojibwa heritage who discuss the unique barriers for indigenous students in post-secondary education and profer solutions for working together to improve outcomes. This article won first place in the 2019 BYU-I Pre-professional Conference writing competition.
